exquisite craftsmanship from the castle interior
In fact
I miss the trip so much!!!
We spent almost every morning in this lovely cafe, The Edinburgh Larder, having breakfasts and planning our trip ahead for the day. Their scones and homemade jam are sooooooo delicious! Every dish was made and brought to the table by the super-friendly staff there who welcomed us with heart-warming smiles and great service. Oh I wish they were in London so I could visit them every weekend!!!

Edinburgh Part I

Going to Edinburgh is on my To-do list since mid-term. Being one of the most beautiful and historical cities in the UK, there is no reason not to go to Scotland in summer to experience the land of Military and Tartan with friends before the weather gets unbearably cold.

 National Museum of Scotland

St Giles Cathedral

View from Edinburgh Castle

The Monument

Calton Hill

View from Calton Hill was absolutely breath-taking. I also enjoyed the time spent on sunbathing in Prince Street Gardens near the Scott Monument. The Monument has a stunning Gothic design which sums up the gloominess of the mysterious city.
