Afternoon Tea at Apsleys

 Apsleys is probably one of my favourite places to have afternoon tea with my girls

Apsleys - a Michelin-starred Heinz Beck Restaurant is located in London's Lanesborough Hotel at Hyde Park Corner. Many world-famous hotels are around this posh area. The chandeliers and the atrium in the restaurant made the whole experience even more enjoyable with bright daylight and beautiful decorations. The ambience was brilliant. Not to mention the food was delicious and the staff was helpful. A great mix of pastries and desserts.

I definitely find afternoon tea is girls'  biggest weakness

would love to go there again!!

Birthday

Last Thursday 8th August was my 24th Birthday.

my best friend from Hong Kong surprised me by ordering cupcakes delivered at my door.
Living in a foreign country isn't easy

when your family and most of your friends are far away from you

However I feel soooo blessed that my 'new' friends I've met here in the UK

celebrated the night with me

I'm one lucky girl huh

someone put 24 candles on my birthday cake

Richmond Park

Last time I went to Richmond Park. It was still snowing. I didnt have any luck at spotting the deer.

This time, we are determined to give it a second try

To have picnic in this rare lovely weather

I like how they preserve and manage the park here. The nature is retained and people can do whatever they want (sensible things of course)
unlike those parks in Hong Kong, which are jokes, you cannot walk a dog or fly a kite. No Skating. No ball games. No Smoking nor music. with fences everywhere. Basically you cannot relax in parks.

I am always envious of the people who manage to keep their workplace so well-organised
My mom always reminds me, keeping your desk tidy is the way to clear your head

J'adore Paris

Every ride in the metro is like playing a french movie, looking out of the windows with live music in the background. Paris is for tourists, not for lovers. 

 

 A bit irritated by the amount of tourists but you cannot complain when you have free access to all the amazing museums here.  

Home of impressionists. Everything is so vague, so beautiful. Blue Skies and white sand remind me of all the Tommy Ton pictures on Style.com.
